Hello

Bon to meet you.

/bon/ - adj., French

Good; pleasant; kind. A small company making good software, with good people, for good reasons.

  1. I.Do one thing. Do it right. Do it well.

A product that tries to do everything does nothing well. Each bon product has a single job, and we obsess over doing that job better than anyone.

  2. II.Simple is not easy. Simple is the work.

Simplicity is the hardest thing to build and the first thing users notice. We remove everything that isn't essential, then we remove some more.

  3. III.We are user funded. The user is not a metric. The user is a person.

We have no investors to answer to, only the people who use our products. Every decision we make is accountable to them, not to a cap table.

  4. IV.Slow compounding beats the hockey stick.

We are not chasing a spike. We plant, we tend, we wait. Good products grow the way good ideas do: quietly, steadily, and then all at once.

  5. V.Happy team, good product. It is that simple.

You cannot build something that makes people's lives better if your own team is burned out and afraid. The product is a mirror of the people who made it.
